Trumpeter Hornbill occurs in southern Africa (Angola, Botswana, Burundi, Congo, Eswatini, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Republic of South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe). The numbers are currently decreasing. Major threat is habitat destruction.
