Support an animal — become a godparent!
An opportunity to support an animal of your own choice with a financial contribution!
Individuals, companies and organisations can become godparents.
Levels of the Godparents Programme
- SILVER GODPARENTS (the amount of support 100–999 EUR per year)
- GOLD GODPARENTS (the amount of support 1000–2999 EUR per year)
- PLATINUM GODPARENTS (the amount of support 3000 EUR per year and more)
How will you benefit?
- An opportunity to use the grant for attaining objectives of Riga ZOO development plan and for maintenance of the particular animal;
- A special godparents agreement giving you the status of a godparent of the chosen animal for 1 year (with a possibility to extend the agreement);
- A certificate proving the godparent’s status;
- An honorary plaque at the animal’s housing with the godparent’s name and surname (only Gold and Platinum Godparents);
- An entry on Riga ZOO home page and on social media (upon agreement with the godparent);
- A special gift from Riga ZOO on the godparent’s birthday;
- An invitation to godparents information day;
- Free admission to Riga ZOO twice a year;
- An opportunity to receive information about the daily life of the animal, its health and other aspects of its life.
*The bonus is calculated based on the yearly costs of feeding and maintenance of the animal.
