Watch animal feedings!

Every summer Rīga ZOO invites its guests to see animal feedings in set times. Feedings are happening every day in set times until the end of August. It is an excellent opportunity to see animals in action even in the hottest days, when most of the time is spent resting in shadow.

Please remember – in Rīga ZOO animals can be fed by employees only! Zoo is putting a lot of work and resources to ensure every animal receives a balanced diet. Uncontrolled feeding with any products destroys nutritional balance and may harm the animal, even if the food is part of his usual diet.

In case of bad weather, feeding demonstrations may be cancelled.
