The European Fire Salamander occurs in central and southern Europe. The countries of occurrence are Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland and Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The numbers are decreasing.
