Tench

Tench is a freshwater fish species, distributed in Europe and Asia. Prefers slow-moving freshwater habitats, inhabits rivers, lakes, ponds and even coastal water near river mouths.

Tench has been introduced to North and South Africa, Tasmania, Australia, New Zealand, India, North America, Chile and elsewhere.
