Red Kangaroo
EEP (EAZA Ex-situ Programme)
Red Kangaroo is endemic to Australia. It is abundant and occurs throughout the arid regions of the continent. There are no major threats known to affect the species. The national species management plan includes a regulated harvesting for meat and hides.

■ The species is managed under the EEP (EAZA Ex-situ Programme). Currently it is coordinated by Sosto Zoo, Hungary.
