Green Iguana

Green Iguana occurs naturally in Central America and the northeastern part of South America. It has also been introduced to over 20 countries globally. As an invasive species, Green Iguana exhibit rapid population growth and affect human infrastructure, agriculture, tourism, long-term security and biodiversity.
Conservation
■ Listed in Appendix II of Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES, or Washington Convention).
