Bitterling
Bitterling is a freshwater fish, distributed in Europe and Asia. Bitterlings have a unique breeding practice depositing their eggs inside freshwater mussels.

According to the latest research, Bitterlings that are present in Eastern and Central Europe, now are believed to belong to a separate species, Rhodeus amarus, while Bitterlings from Amur basin, Far East, represent Rhodeus sericeus.
