Belanger’s Tree Shrew occurs in south-east Asia, north of the ishthmus of Kra. The species is common throughout its range, the population is stable.


■ Listed in Appendix II of Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES, or Washington Convention).
